Why is it I can only dress as the Green Lantern if my avatar is male? Or a super cool sexy pirate if my avatar is female? Seems like a pointless thing to do, and from a consumer perspective pretty shitty (e.g. female avatars have to pay to get Converse like sneakers).

It’s why I dig Fable II so much: from what I could tell the difference between the heroes depending on gender was the chest and voice (what little there was to be heard). I could dress up in full on beard wearing those super cool pink hot pants if I wanted, get really huge and wave a big hammer about and it was awesome :) They didn’t put silly restrictions on what you could do just because you wanted to have a pair of tits on your character.
